Topography

The East Mediterranean belt spans a variety of topographic features, from the wide Nile River Delta, and the „Great Rift Valley“ which sit at about sea level, to the lowest point on earth at the Dead Sea, which is over 410 m below sea level. It also has the Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon Mountains. HUMMUS’s topography peaks at over 4000m in the Taurus Mountains.
