The Nile River Delta, the East Mediterranean shore line, and the hinterland-city-axis, from Aleppo down to Amman, have population density values upwards of 3,000 people/km2, while 150km from the coast on the belt that runs parallel to the shoreline, the population density drops dramatically to near zero.
