HUMMUS 2050 - East Mediterranean City Belt is located at the intersection of Africa, Asia, and Europe, making it a natural, geopolitical, and ideological unique hub for the world. As such, it has been a strategic area for empires to occupy and control, and thus, has had a turbulent history with a number of rulers, civilizations, and peoples. It is the nexus for continents, empires, religions, and cultures and the overlap for many identities and histories which form the HUMMUS identity.
